VOCABULARY TOOLS

There are, of course, thousands of ressources; here are a few I've selected for you (feel free to use others if you want!):

• The http://www.languageguide.org/english/vocabulary/ website allows you to review some basic vocabulary. It uses IMAGES and SOUNDS (no French!) and includes some exercises: it's a good starting point!

• You can also acquire the excellent Vocabulary In Use (Elementary) for a more complete review.

• Don't forget to study the material we cover in class: there are also many interesting words in there! In addition to your paper dictionary, you can use the on-line Larousse dictionary if you want to check the meaning of a word.
